On the Saturday 27 th, I was in Labin to visit BIKER MEETING....It was interesting and I took photos of course, one of them is here....I never like motorbikes and had a prejudice about bikers....Today, I can say only there is no black and white world...

"DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD RALLY" came to Rijeka

The eighteen expensive cars came to Rijeka on September 22nd, in the center of town, near, yesterday mentioned, Hotel Bonavia. In organization of "European Routs for Leisure Rally" strated last Friday (September 19th) from Great Britain and was going through Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Croatia (Rijeka and Split). The finish point is in Florence, Italy. Rally has charity character which support "Duke of Edinburgh Award" for youth development. Prince Phillipe found that award about 4 decades ago. I took a photo of Bentley (owners Mr Steven Collins and Mark Steinberg).

BONAVIA

Yesterday, I was in the Centar of Rijeka to buy some gift .....I took photos about famous Rijeka's Hotel Bonavia ......The Grand Hotel Bonavia has 125 years long tradition ...it is located in the city centre with many shops, offices, museums and cultural monuments, only a few steps away from the Adriatic coast.

I have to say, SEPIA, is my favourite photo-style.....Maybe the explenation is in that I like things with some "past cover"........or sometimes it is just "blue mood"..............Well, I don't know exactly

Because, some of You, my dear Bloggers, yesterday mentioned Istria, my photo for today is Entrance in small village in Istria, called Roč. It is well known because there was , for the first time in Croatian history in 1483, printed a book named "Kosinjski misal".

This is Lovran....The city of Lovran lies at the natural bay on the coast of the Opatija Riviera....During the summer time, i often swim here if I am not on Island Rab.....about Rab, some other time....

THE SMALL PIECE OF MY CITY

I would like to introduce You with Rijeka...It is one of four big cities in Croatia...The photo shows the beginnig of long street between buildings which is the favourite space of "Riječana" for walking, drinking caffee and so on...

This is....what I see from my office desk...Maybe it is not perfectly clear that I can see a little bit of Opatija (the pearl of Adriatic), but I know that "she" is there...and I must say it is nice feeling..
